The first Milan Fashion Week show of Day 2 was Max Mara. The main inspiration of the collection was Africa and safari style, filtered through the iconic style of the maison. The main items were safari jackets, trenches, jumpsuits and tuxedos. The colors passed from the warm shades like tan, beige, camel to more cold shades and deepest black. I really liked the mix of floral colors and military prints and the oversized tortoise sunglasses.
The second show of day 2 of Milan Fashion Week was Emporio Armani. Giorgio Armani this time chose simple and clean lines. The dresses seemed to be create for young women who like to feel confortable in their own skins. Armani found a new way to express yourself in a very simple and natural way, never too affected. For day there is a masculine suit with easy, feminine lines in pastel colors, while for the night the design becomes bolder and more linear, and you can find bronze gold and metallic colors. loved it!
The last show of the day 2 was Ermanno Scervino. The Milan Fashion Week show started with the beautiful Cara Delevigne wearing an amazing orange dress. The first part of the show was dominated by bright colors such as orange, pink yellow and purple. The garments are embellished with macramé lace, floral embroidery and arabesque which are feminine, sensual and elegant at the same time.
More subtle, by virtue of its black-and-white palette, was the second half of the lineup, where the clothes were more classic and decorated with geometric designs. P.s.: the shoes-sculpture were just amazing!
